Ashwaganda root extract (Withania Somnifera), also known as Indian Ginseng is one of the most important adaptogenic herbs. Contraindications and Warnings: Not safe for use in pregnancy or during lactation. Ashwagandha may not be safe if a person has hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. May cause drowsiness. Dosage:
- Tincture: take 20 drops up to 3 times daily, with meals. Start with 20 drops daily and increase gradually.
